After the edgeband has been bonded, the antistatic coolant is sprayed directly onto the adhesive joint and the edgeband with our fine nozzles. It ensures static discharge of the workpiece and the edgeband, which reduces the adhesion of milling chips. The coolant also ensures even and gentle cooling of the adhesive joint, which reduces soiling of the following tools and sensing skids.
The LP289/99® Antistatic Coolant Agent is sprayed directly onto the adhesive joint after the edge band has been bonded.
The effect:
Static discharge of workpieces and milling chips
Cooling the adhesive joint
Increased tool life due to reduced coating formation on the tools
No blocking of the workpieces during stacking
For PMMA/acrylic edges use WZG/12 as an alternative has a similar effect to the LP289/99® antistatic coolant. However, this prevents the formation of cracks in sensitive PMMA/acrylic edges.
